Amelia’s research focuses on compute governance and national security. Before joining GovAI, she worked on AI, industrial policy, and international economics at the White House Council of Economic Advisers. Previously, she was a research assistant at the MIT FutureTech lab, where she researched the economic impacts of advanced AI. She holds a BA in economics from Brown University.
