John is a Research Scholar focusing on UK AI policy. He previously worked in the UK government as a senior policy advisor on digital technology policy, and supported the delivery of the AI Security Institute's misuse evaluations. He has a BA in English from Oxford, and an MA in International Security from King's College London.
