Michela researches frontier AI risk management within the Risk Management Team, with a particular focus on EU AI regulation. She is also interested in UK AI policy. Before joining GovAI, she worked as a policy researcher in the UK Parliament whilst completing her PhD in Pure Mathematics at UCL. She also holds a Master's degree in Mathematical and Theoretical Physics from the University of Oxford.
