Zaheed researches risk management for frontier AI. He is particularly interested in the design and implementation of Frontier AI Frameworks. Before joining GovAI, he was an AI safety manager at the Frontier Model Forum where he led the AI-biosecurity and AI-nuclear security work. He was previously a senior research associate at the Centre for International Governance Innovation, and a policy analyst in the Government of Canada. He holds an M.A. in Global Public Policy and International Organizations from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs.
