Zilan works on AI governance and development in China. Previously, she worked as a research associate at the Oxford China Policy Lab. She also helped facilitate dialogues between Chinese and Western scientists at the Safe AI Forum. She holds an MSc from the Oxford Internet Institute at the University of Oxford.
