Research Fellows will study important open questions in AI governance, in an environment that offers both significant research freedom and opportunities for collaboration.

Our Summer and Winter Fellowships provide an opportunity for early-career individuals to spend three months working on an AI governance research project, learning about the field, and making connections with other researchers and practitioners.

In the coming year, we will award prizes to students who have produced excellent pieces of research with relevance to AI governance. Separate prizes will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students. Eligible submissions will include undergraduate and master’s theses, journal articles, and essays.
