Sophie Williams

Research Fellow

sophie.williams@governance.ai

Sophie works across GovAI’s risk management and policy workstreams, with a particular focus on the intersection between the two. Before joining GovAI, she advised government ministers at the UK Home Office and the Department for Science, Innovation & Technology. She has also held roles at the Financial Conduct Authority and the Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum. Sophie holds a BA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford.
